So I was in a bad mood and I was looking for a book that I could hate that was bearable enough for me to read all the way through. Essentially, something to kill time and distract me from the knowledge that I didnt have an actual book to read. So The Heartbroken Heartbreaker seemed like the natural choice. It is about Kyla Evans, a teenage girl whos dating her ex-boyfriend (Cedric)s enemy (Seth) to get revenge and make him jealous. From this premise, I went into this story expecting the usualKyla got dumped by her boyfriend Cedric for no apparent reason other than the 'it's complicated' bullshit. To make matters worse, she got into a fight with her bestfriend Hail, plus her mother doesn't seem to care about her anymore. Im speechless. This book broke me. It completely and utterly broke me.I wish I could give this a million stars, because thats what it meant to me. It might have only been a good book to others, but to me, it shed a whole new light on everything. No offense to
One thing you can't stop while reading this"Tears"Reread! And loved!-H❤
It's not often that you find a book that strikes something in you, especially on Wattpad. But this book had me laughing, crying and completely relating to some of the things Kyla said or did. There were certain points of it that were so hard to read because it reminded me so much of myself. To say I was shocked is an understatement. For a book with not much credit on wattpad, it was absolutely amazing.
Once in a while I decide I want to go back to Wattpad, read some terrible teen dramas and uninstall the app for another two years or so. This simple trick of getting just the right amount of cringe and sexy scenes written by 12 year-olds has been helping me for a long time. This book was more than that ( you can even notice I'm calling it a book, instead of a story/WATTPAD book ). My biggest complaint about this affects my opinion on this so much that I almost took one star away: she called the
