The highly anticipated novel that delivers what romantic suspense fans have waited forthe return to Rock Harbor. A mysterious crying in the night leads search-and-rescue worker Bree Matthews and her dog Samson to an abandoned baby in the woods outside of Rock Harbor, Michigan. Against objections from her husband, Bree takes the baby girl in. Quickly she begins a search for the mother—presumably the woman reported missing just days earlier. While teams scour the wintery forests, Bree ferrets out clues about the woman. Where is she and why did she leave the child behind? And how does that connect to Bree's first husband's mysterious death years ago in the Upper Peninsula? Everything Bree thought she knew about her life is turned upside down with the sound of a Cry in the Night.

Criticize Appertaining To Books Cry in the Night (Rock Harbor #5)
Let us thank Samson for carrying this book on his back. I really was just not a fan. I had a lot of problems with this book.Firstly, the autism representation? Hmmm. Not a fan. I feel like Victor was babied and treated as less than. I think the representation was poorly executed here.As for the infertility storyline, I actually thought it was good, but like, I felt like it was only mentioned a couple of times. Something that huge should take more precedence.Kade is so hard to stand. He is

Other than the first book in the series, I think this was my favorite. A big twist in this one. Audible listen with Audible escape.

Another hard read for me! Everything I thought I knew flew out the window with this book! I have a friend who thought this was the best one in the series and that should've been my first warning, as we have very different tastes in, well, in pretty much everything. I racked my brain who it could be and only one I could imagine it being. A little on the DOOLish side.

Even though I didn't care for the storyline in this book, I have to give Coble's credit for being able to keep me guessing right up to the end. I also skipped over #4 in the series and am going to read it next to see if it may have information in it that would have affected the way I felt about the storyline in this book.

#5 in the Rock Harbor series set in the Upper Peninsula. while I kept wanting to read on and on, the solution to everything seemed totally unbelievable, and once again we have a needle in a haystack search for something somewhere in the vast national forest, and of course they find it. Bree's son Davy thinks he hears a windigo "cry in the night," and she discovers a live baby in the snow. as she investigates while fostering tiny Olivia, Bree is suspecting there is a baby-stealing operation. then

I thought this book was good, but not up to the standards of Coble's previous Rock Harbor books. I thought the story was exciting and good at keeping your attention. However, at times it felt like I was reading a bad soap opera. The stuff that happened was crazy at some points. I felt like some of the events and details from this book didn't go with the previous books. While still a good book, Cry in the Night was definitely different than the previous books in its series.

One of the best books of read this year, and one of my favorite books I've read of Colleen Coble's to date. I wasn't expecting to like her books, but when I read her first book in The Lavender Tides series, I just can't seem to stop reading. Cry In the Night is my favorite book from her Rock Harbor series that I've read so far.
